Very cute and clean rooms, secure parking, and great location. They had a smart tv as well. staff were friendly. Also it’s a great price! Definitely one of the best deals for a hotel room of this caliber.

place was conveniently located and gated parking but the spaces are super tight. room was fairly clean but the only issue was that they kept saying they were going to change the sheets over a 5 day 4 night stay and they were never changed even though we were told they were going to do but they never did. We had to call the manager and request a sheet and bedding change but he just brought sheets. Also the manager, Dru who lived there was a little creepy and my mom & niece felt like he was watching them. Not the best experience but for the price and convenient location to my house, it’s ok i guess.

Room was clean and the room size is not bad. The worker was kind. Air conditioner work well. However, the door between the room and bathroom was not totally seperated because the door was a sliding door and not completely closed. There was a gap between the door and the wall.

Entire property and room itself dirty, dusty, damaged. One of the nights there were 10 cops in the courtyard for hours with no explanation. Another night weird guy sitting in his hoarder car was watching people walk to and from their doors. Not enough security for the doors, creepy and unsafe vibe. Check in and check out was bizarre.

This is a wonderfully refurbished motel in a part of Oakland that's a little bit rough around the edges but is safe and close to Piedmont Avenue (which is great). The owners have redone the hotel in cheerful colors and spotless rooms. Drew, the manager, is great as is the entire staff. I will definitely go back if I need a place in Oakland in the future.

The room was fine and staff (one person) was nice enough, but the picture shown as the hotel is actually a building across the street and a block down. This is a converted old motel in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood of Oakland (which I'm familiar with or I wouldn't have checked in). I looked at a room before I checked in - it's been remodeled but is showing its age. The vapors from cleaning where overwhelming until I turned on the AC/heat to circulate the air. Overall it was fine, but I didn't appreciate the bait and switch of the pictures.

Value for the money was EXCELLENT. Very safe considering the surroundings
Clean enough and tidy, but would benefit from a deep clean.
Bathroom floor was dingy but it’s stained more than it’s dirty. Acceptable
Refrigerator got cold quickly and was more than adequate.
Limited parking- very small spaces.

Smelled like cheap cleaning product, floors where cheap so looked stained was scared to step on floors barefoot. Parking good, bed comfortable, shops nearby, no late checkout 11am, $200 deposit, i wouldnt stay again i would pay extra for cleaner floors. But if your on a budget its a warm place to sleep.
