Well located, but...

Great location, but the apt was i) not in good condition (rip carpet in hallway, chipped plates & cups, jammed windows...), ii) dirty (dust balls on corners) and ii) not well stocked (we were 5, but dinning sets were for 4, only one bathsheet no hand towels each). Finally, avoid 4th floor as rooms were not fully useable due to roof slope (which we all hit our heafs on at least once)

PERFECT place to stay in Reykjavik

This place is PERFECT! I traveled with my Adult children and we loved the location, the cleanliness and location of this place. I am planning another trip to Iceland and diefintely am looking to stay here again.

The property was in a great location. Easy to walk to downtown sites and activities (even in the cold), close to shopping and groceries, and also close to restaurants. It was very cozy and warm and we loved that we had 2 bedrooms. There is no parking at this property, so when it says "Parking available" it doesn't mean on the property; free parking is about a 5-10 minute walk away.

We had to two apartments for a group of 8 and they were spacious and comfortable. The only thing I would add is the top floor apartments don't have full ceiling. One must bend down to make your way in bedrooms and living room. Kitchen does not have this problem. While this might be common in Iceland, something to just think about if one cares. The view we had from both apartments was fantastic overlooking mountain and North Atlantic Ocean.

Very good value

Apartment was warm, clean and tidy. Bathroom/ shower were great The tv took me some time to sort out as both end of the Arial cord were not secure and loose. Cooking, there was not a baking tray to cook chips or chicken on As far as safety the front door chain could not be used. The frame was held on with some pins and old glue and had fallen off. Not totally safe. Bedroom window was in need of double glazing as an arctic breeze was blowing in all night.

We asked for an early checkin and they offered us a significant charge to check in two hours early. When we didn’t accept the additional cost they didn’t give us our access code until an hour after check in time. We stayed two days but was only give one towel.

Would recommend but had a lot of confusion with the information provided and some difficulty with parking but this is to be expected. Great option for those not renting a car, good option otherwise just don’t plan to drop bags early.

Great location. Loved being able to walk to local shops. Family of 4 was able to be moderately comfortable in the apartment of this size. Good dining and shopping options. Close to coffee shops. Would stay again.

Great property. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping. Easy access to bus stops where tour buses pick up. Close to running/walking trails and local sights. If you’re tall you may want to ask for lower floors as the top has sloped ceilings, but the loft style unit we were in had an amazing view so we didn’t mind the sloped ceilings😀

Fin leilighet, praktiske utfordringer

+ Sentral plassering, ganske rolig gate God plass med stue og kjøkken + en del utstyr Lyst og trivelig - Lys i taket fungerte ikke Lys i nattlampe virket ikke Håndtak på bad ramlet av Kodesystemet fungerte dårlig. Koden vi mottok før ankomst virket ikke. Heller ikke kode til vaskerom. Da jeg hadde vasket klær, kom jeg meg ikke inn igjen med koden som fungerte 1 time tidligere. Dette gjorde at vi brukte en del tid på å få nye koder, og turte ikke sette bagasjen i lagerrom den dagen vi skulle reise. Men positivt at vi fikk rask hjelp når vi trengte det.
