Excellent choice of hotel!

Positive : We enjoyed every moment while staying at J4 for a week. The staff are lovely, alway smiling and helpful, especially at the front desk. Room: Large bed, comfortable and clean. The shower room is perfect! Overall, everything is up to standard. You can get free access to the facilities of the Chaweng garden hotel (twin hotel) - like sun beds in front the beach (stunning sea view), the swimming pool, the beautiful garden and the breakfast area. At night, the front beach has a nice and cheap sea food buffet, and the dipping sauce is delicious - especially the French sauce. The cocktail bar is 5-8 pm. They have a happy hour price, just 150 bht / drink. Location: quite a noisy area, however you have a variety of restaurants and you can find the cheap food at Central Samui - try the Pad Thai at the food court, it’s delicious and just 130 baht, a lot cheaper than in restaurants. A negative was once we arrived, there wasn’t a bell boy to help move our bags. The staff who are at the front desk said that they were busy, so we had to carry our bags up to Level 3. We were tired from 14 hours of travel by Coach and Ferry… so… Additionally, another negative issue is the noise from neighbouring clubs which obviously isn’t J4s fault! They played loud music and created a party environment from 12pm till late at night. Luckily, the noise is quieter once the bathroom door is shut. Thus, J4 is a value of money choice and made our holiday far more perfect! Recommended!

Staff is friendly and has nice hospitality. I arrived in the morning, thought I couldn't chech in. However a staff arranged a room with smilling though it was 6 hours prior to check-in time. Thanks to it, I could fully enjoyed from first day. I didn't mind noise in the night well, but sound of aircraft was large although it was not avilable in the night. One thing I would like the hotel to impove is shower pressure. It was very low. Location is good, close to the beach. It is good I could chage to room at a restaurant. Tottaly good hotel.

This is a great little bargain if you want to be near green mango. The rooms are super clean and modern and the bathrooms are nice., but the beds are pretty hard. You will hear noise from outside, but this was a great place to stay for a quick stop over. You also have access to the pool and beach through the neighboring Chaweng Garden hotel. I’d do it again.

Logé dans le bâtiment principal flambant neuf, tout est parfait concernant la chambre en dehors du fait d une literie un peu dure (matelas posé à même le bois. Mon dos va s en souvenir longtemps. En plein milieu DU spot en vogue de kho samui, c est un peu bruyant mais avec le bruit de ventilation de la Clim on entends quasi plus le bruit de la fiesta. Super petit dej hyper copieux (400 baths quand même).. une belle notre globalement pour cet hébergement

Definitely not recommend for light sleepers. I had difficult time falling asleep because too much loud noise from the clubs on the street and beach side. Noise only comes down after 1-2am. The room is very well kept, very clean and smells good. Comfortable room to stay.
