We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The hotel itself is very charming, and the location is beautiful. Still, the best part was the staff, and in particular Duncan and Anna. They were so friendly and really did their best to take care of us. It was actually a bit sad to leave! I can definitely recommend the hotel, and I hope to stay here again another time!

Everything was magical, food, room, view and above all the friendly staff. Only improvement required was the very low pressure shower, not a complaint as we don’t have any, just an observation. Room 1 had a fantastic view of the Loch. We will be back for sure.

A great place to escape a storm

It was a last minute booking for us to escape storm Floris and we're so pleased we found this place. Wonderful views from the room and fantastic food. We had haggis to start (which wasn't on the menu but they did it for us anyway) and Sea Bass and Lamb Shank which were both excellent.

This is essentially a B&B being labelled as a hotel. Staff were thin on the ground, but the food was fine. The family room was disappointing with no proper shower facility and tired decor.

A wonderful time!

My friend and I stayed at Loch Maree Hotel for a night before we went over to the Isle of Skye and our experience was amazing! Duncan was so sweet and funny and made the stay memorable. The views of the lake are beautiful and everyone else staying at the hotel were friendly and loved to chat. The food was delicious, we had dinner and breakfast - both great. I wish we could have stayed longer! Next time I'll have to bring a boat that's not filled with water to explore the lake.
