Dirty linens, many things in the hotel and waterpark were broken/unusable, rusted unusable drinking fountains throughout, doors didn’t lock properly, mold. No coffee maker, no glasses/cups, not enough sheets and pillows for all guests in the suite. False advertising - not all waterpark tickets were included like hotels.com said - had to buy extra once checked in.

Hotell was a little dirty. Our room wasn't ready till 7pm. They also ran out of coffee creamer sugar and bottlewater. So had to go to the gas station and i was informed about the human trafficking and immigrants working not getting paid. Its all still under investigation but scary.

Room was dirty with food and candy in the beds witch make me think the bed sheets was never changed. Bubble gum on the floor by the night stand and this stuff was in plain sight. Tv remote didnt work except the channel up botton. The microwave didnt work. The room phone was missing all the info to call the front desk. The corner trim was pealing off the walls. Kids running upstairs on the 2nd floor till 1am in the morning tryed calling the front desk with my cell phone just kept ringing busy. The elevator stop working on sat. The game room was okish must of the claw machines didnt have prizes in them. The water park was over packed with people for the size of the water park, you could tell the yellow tube slide has been closed for along time and they told us on the phone everything was up and working so we was lied to on the phone by the front office workers. For spending close to 700$ for 2 nights and driving over 2hrs to get there we was very disappointed on what we got.. there should be a refound given but we was only told sorry that was it

Room was not clean (multiple chip bags, plastic cups, pieces of food left in room). Hallways and stairways around pool area had trash on floors. Elevator out of order. Lockers in pool area out of order. TV remote in room had multiple buttons that did not work. No channel guide on TV, no paper guide in room. Hotel looked understaffed, maybe wasn’t expecting larger number of guests on a winter holiday weekend.

A lot of hotel services were "out of order" (Ice machines, Lobby Elevators, Coffee Creamers, Etc.). Understaffed in general. Would not stay at the hotel again. Splash park was fun for kids. Splash cafe was shutdown. Arcade games were mostly empty of prizes. Bartender was cool at the restaurant.

The check in desk only had 1 person working, so if you already checked in and had come back to get waterpark wristbands you had to wait in line again. I’m not sure why they don’t have a person to put the wristbands on in the waterpark. Our room was dirty, lamps weren’t plugged in and I don’t think they had even bothered to vaccum. We had 3 people in our room but only 2 towels in the bathroom. The water park was very cold, we were told they were having an issue keeping the water warm and that maintenance was working on it but it didn’t warm up while we were there. The next morning they didn’t have coffee, creamer or sweetener out at the coffee bar. All in all, it was our first visit and our last. watpark wasn’t heated

Everything went wrong, I was checked in my room with a forged signature, my room wasn’t cleaned or sanitized for my self l even with a late check in. Then there was an infestation of roaches popping out of when we started laying down for bed.

I probably would have gave them more stars, if it was the initial experience. For starters the check-in process was non existent. The clerk only asked my name as validation (meaning no took my id to confirm nor asked for a card for incidentals), gave my room keys, say where the room was, never gave me or tried to place on the wristbands that came with my room - said to come back during the day - and sent me on my way! The room we were given was barely cleaned. Duvet/Comforter and sheets on King bed were stained with candy or crayon. Bathroom tub was dirty and covered in scum, bathroom mirror was splattered with toothpaste, mini fridge didn't work - discovered it was unplugged. However, the following morning I called the front desk and spoke with Michelle who apologized and provided us with a new room that was properly cleaned and also provided information that wasn't received upon checking in (before and) when we returned to the front desk with the prior room keys and we provided a card for incidentals; by letting me know about the pool being open - because it was Xmas Day and the waterpark was closed. Also noticed issues with multiple elevators and vending machine as being out of order. They don't provide simple/continental breakfast to their guest - just coffee/tea. Overall my family and I had an okay time for the few days we spent at Splash Universe, but I am definitely on the fence about returning...especially with this being all of ours 1st experience with the place.
