The 2 bedroom was charming and rustic. It was a very convenient location. You can get to cathedral cove and beaches on foot which made it a pleasure. The local shopping center and restaurants were within minutes also on foot. The area shuts down by 8pm. Make your dining arrangements at Church Bistro ahead of time as they get booked quickly but worth it.

Perfect room. Pleasant gentleman who checked us in. Short 5 min walk to great beach (early morning we were on the beach alone). Amenities include microwave, mini frig, toaster. Cute town. Hahei Explorer boat ride is informative and about an hour. Cathedral Cove walk is quite nice, but be prepared for some steepness (about 2 miles one way).

Very pleasant stay. Beds in particular deserve a mention- very comfortable. Showers are fairly basic, but water is hot and plentiful. Good value for money. However, it's definitely not an 11 minute walk from Cathedral Cove! It’s more like 45 minutes, and expect lots of walking up and down hills. That said, there's nowhere closer to CC to stay, and parking at the Cove itself is prohibited.

Tatahi Beach Resort is wonderful.

One of the neatest places we have ever stayed. Loved it there. Close to a lot of outdoor sightseeing. Owner was a super fellow. Stores and resturaunts are very near by. I want to go back soon.

Enjoyed our stay at Tatahi Lodge. Hahei is a small town, and the lodge is convenient to the Cafes, the General Store and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Very quiet area. Room was clean and comfortable and felt good. Door and windows out to lovely garden area. Would definitely stay again!
