cheap No Frills fun

Fairly clean and had new air conditioners and TVs the bare minimums, the bathroom was very old and could barely see to take a shower and my kids nearly fell getting in because there was no mat. it was all oil field workers staying there I should have spent $80 more a night to have breakfast and a pool, in Carlsbad this is one of the least expensive hotels at $105 a night during Labor Day weekend could've stayed at any nice major chain for about $185 a night in hindsight I wish I would have paid the extra $80 a night.

Ice machine broken, high rate for the quality of the hotel, no shampoo in bathroom and the cleaning lady let herself into my room at 8.30am. The least they could do is know if a room is occupied. Better choices for less $$ elsewhere.

The price was a little high for the quality of the motel but the staff was friendly. the room was on the second level and the stairs were broke . dangerous. rooms were clean and comfortable.

Don't Stay here

DON'T EVEN ATTEMPT I,made reservations and when I arrived I didn't stay saw too much illegal going on and the owner's are East Indian and very rude very very scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't do it!

Staff was abrupt at check in, we could never find someone who works there to ask her questions. No phone in room to call front desk. Area was scary. There was sunglasses and some other items left in room from previous guests. Mold in bathtub and toilet. Room dirty.

Nice hotel

This is a really nice motel and very economical The rooms are fully renovated I was really surprised on how good the rooms were The owners are super nice end very helpful I recommend this motel 100%

Very tired hotel, but everything worked OK. Exterior was a bit off-putting (think 50s motel with no fix-up since) but inside OK. WiFi sporadic.

Do not recommend to anybody

the room was in dirty unclean condition. Toilet paper was stained and wet, we had to ask fora clean one, the manager did not seem surprised, and did not even say sorry for the inconvenience. The bathroom was dirty, with rusted faucets. No shampoo provided, soap fell apart at touch. My wife refused to take a show

Cheap and comfy

The exterior is squalid but the room was absolutely great for the price. The owners are in the process of upgrading the plumbing so the tub did not drain well but that was our only issue. Beds perfectly comfortable and we had a mini fridge and a microwave. The town is close enough to Carlsbad Caverns to be convenient and far away enough to get a much better price on gas. And the motel is directly accross from the park along the Pecos river.
