Room was compact but clean. Shared bathroom not bad, few flies around. Lovely lady on reception moved her car for me when the car park was full (sorry didn’t catch your name). Decent breakfast. Ideal for a quick overnight stop, would stay again.

Shared bathrooms are dirty and no proper cleaning service. Got expired bread items for the continental breakfast (not at all satisfactory) that made us skip eating breakfast there. Unfriendly staff. Totally unhappy with this room stay. Not at all recommended.

Fine historic Hotel from a bygone era! Christie is an awesome hostess and though I did not actually eat a meal there, the meals looked and smelled wonderful( I had already eaten before arrival)! Quiet peaceful sleep, wonderful wood stove heat for the dining room/bar area. Nice surprise, breakfast included!

This is a magic place. Basic but all you need. Great food and vibe at the old pub. I hadn’t expected it to be crowded with campers but I probably should have considering it was Easter. Otherwise it would have been an even more beautiful tranquil place to stay.
