The staff was amazing. Room was clean and comfy. Only problem was getting to La Lira and not being able to check in till 2pm so we wondered around for 3 hours and it was very hot and humid and we were very tired.

The room and facility was was clean and nice and un to date asthetic. The staff was helpful and nice. Hotels.com had screwed up our booking and the staff went out of their way to help us. It was also super convenient to the airport and the shuttle service to the airport was so nice!!

The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. But the bed only had a top sheet - no bed cover, comforter or blanket. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, and booked a shuttle when we checked in. It made the morning commute to the airport easy and less stressful.

great choice

This is a wonderful small hotel for those wanting to stay near Rome airport. A very warm and helpful staff, and the room was clean, modern and spacious. A big plus is the airport shuttle the hotel offers (8 euro pp, versus 35+euro in a taxi or uber.) Also, it is only five minutes walk from 'restaurant row' with a fine lineup of eateries - try La Marina seafood restaurant (terrific.) La Lira will be my automatic choice for travel in and out of Rome.

This was close to the airport and the beach which was great! There was a common kitchen area available for use. We were disappointed with the stark, plain room and the bathroom was not the cleanest! We would probably not stay here again.

It was a cozy little bed and breakfast with a nice clean and modern comfortable room. We only needed one night close to the airport and this was a perfect spot. We could walk just a few minutes to a main road with lots of places to eat and have a drink. Also, there is a Conad grocery store only a 10 minute walk away. The staff member Alexandro was so great and made us feel so welcome.

We stayed altogether 2 nights before our cruise and one night after our cruise. We liked the location close to many restaurants and just walked across the canal bridge, you will find many good restaurants for dinners at reasonable prices. Close to airport but it was hard to find the shuttle at airport and take taxi costs about €35. All staff at La Lira provided us with good service.
