The hotel itself was lovely, modern and comfortable, and the rest of the stay was good.
The only disappointing part was the smell in reception and on the first floor. There is a black labrador that appears to live around the reception area and roam through parts of the hotel. I love dogs, so I understand the appeal, but for a chain hotel and business setting, it was surprising.
The smell was quite strong and made check-in less pleasant than expected. My wife is also allergic to dogs, so it put a bit of a dampener on the stay.
The hotel is otherwise very nice, but I think pets should be kept out of public hotel areas where guests are checking in and moving through shared spaces.
