I really love this hotel! The staff were kind and lovely, even though I’m not very good at communication. I stayed in Room 406, which had a window and a door leading out to the balcony — I absolutely loved it! There’s a Family Mart right across from the hotel, and it’s not far to walk from the train station. It was also very convenient to walk to the large supermarket in town. If I ever come back to Nikko, I will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous small hotel!

For the price, this was a delightful stay with some amazing amenities. I stayed in one of the rooms (not the capsules). I was amazed at what an amazing place this was and wished I was staying longer. It is super close to the train station and also has lockers if you need to store luggage before/after check-in/out. I rarely return to the same hotel twice, but I would definitely stay here again and longer. I appreciated the thoughtful touches!

Good location to take buses from Toby-Nikki station, possible to keep luggage inside or outside using some lockers available. There is public onsen available 17-23 and showers only from 6:30 in the morning. Reception works 7-10 and then the entrance is closed until 15:00

Super convenient, small hotel!

A great hotel. Small but with everything you require. It is well organised! Despite being relatively small, they managed to put everything in: coin lockers for leaving your luggage, laundry place, place for microwaving your meals, an onsen. We had the classic Japanese room and actually expected not to have a bathroom inside, but actually it had a toilet and sink. Only the shower is outside, and actually that may not matter anyway if you use the onsen downstairs instead. A ramen restaurant is next to it and a family mart and crepe place run by an old lady just vis-a-vis.A good and convenient hotel for a good price!

It was OK. Decent onsen. Rooms basic but you don't need much more. Breakfast was OK. Smoking was at the end of each floor so unfortunately the smoke and smell went through the corridor. Not very nice but there was a double airlock door, doubtful whether smoking people kept them both shut. WiFi was my biggest issue, hardly connected and never in my room (was in 401). I'd not choose to stay there again.
