Nice second floor room overlooking harbour. Good substantial full English breakfast. Fairly steep stairs to access room. A little disappointed pubs flood lights shine brightly on our window recess. I prefer to sleep with curtains open and enjoy the view as I go to sleep.

Lovely and pleasant place to stay for 3 nights. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Room is great, sea view, clean and replenish everyday. Food in the George is very very good, plentiful too. Will go back when we are in Bridport again.

The George is ideally located in the center of town near to a bus stop. Everything about our stay was wonderful; a large en-suite room beautifully decorated with large bathroom. We ate dinner at the George day of arrival which was delicious and breakfast was fabulous. I highly recommend the George.

Everything about the George is wonderful, from the fantastic staff to the clean comfortable rooms. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff in making you welcome and comfortable.Add to this the amazing food, you have a little gem of a hotel.

Very conveniently located hotel with large rooms and excellent updated shower and bathroom. Food was top notch - superb homemade fish pie and Kaileigh was an excellent server and looked after us really well.
