I would be great if the White Hart Inn offered a simple takeaway breakfast (at a cheaper rate) for when you are in a rush to get on the road. Maybe a voucher deal for the coffee shop next door? I think a bar fridge in the room would mean one could stay longer and refrigerate snacks etc. Loved the dog friendly atmosphere and the staff were AMAZING.

I would stay again, a nice pub with rooms and a good breakfast. Large selection of artisan beers, and the food was nice and good value. It was right outside the Cathedral so very central, parking was a 5 or 10 min walk.

A pleasant overnight stay in a warm and friendly Pub. The room was of a good size and clean. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar on returning from an evening out. Good breakfast and would definitely stay again.

Lovely place staff friendly and knowledgeable as a fully working pub choices of beers/ipas second to non along with ciders…. Property in process of new owners & upgrading of rooms and decor …. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was fine. Just two thingxx as though which need improvement: - Wi-Fi was patchy at best. - Having gone to bed about 11, I couldn’t get to sleep because the bar music was blaring out into the courtyard below my room window and ended up phoning the hotel at11.30 to ask them to turn it off - though to be fair they did do that.

Comfortable bed but for a double it was a small room and decor needs updating, I could not stop the shower dripping and there was litter (sweet wrappers) on the floor that had not been cleaned.
