5/5 - Very nice and modern hotel in the university zone. A few meters away from the Atomic Egg, and research facilities and some high tech industry. Staff are well trained, is outside any downtown type crime, very safe. Hotel restaurant offers an excellent breakfast buffet. And decent quality lunch and dinner menus. The area is quite quiet (in August, anyways) and some forested areas nearby. Probably safe for a jog, and I believe the hotel has a fleet of bicycles available. Only a hundred meters or less from the local U6 station. Very easy to get to the old city and other districts of Munich. Only negative is that there are no nearby groceries - and I think the two bigger groceries a bit further away are closed on Sunday. The hotel charges too much for the bottled water and sodas, no reason for that.

Hotel is nice and clean and next to subway. There are no restaurants in walking distance but plenty of restaurants at the next subway station. Overall great experience except that the cleaning staff broke the toilet seat and the hotel staff told me they won’t have have a repair person until the next day so I should use the toilet without seat? I ended up taking it apart and repairing it myself.

Everything new, modern, clean and very nice. We were on an off peak day and their staff was at a minimum and their kitchen was at low capacity when getting something for dinner. The breakfast was very good. The parking in the garage was expensive but it is not run by the hotel.

We ended up at this hotel after our flight was cancelled. We spent 2 nights here and it was very comfortable. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but did enjoy coffee in the lobby in the afternoon and had a wonderful dinner there. The hotel is situation on a college campus, so there aren’t a lot of dining options near by, but we did find a cafe within walking distance. There is also public transportation available.

At check in, I was not informed about wifi, breakfast hours, whether breakfast was included with the room, or where to find the elevator. I also did not receive an offer to help with my bags. I thought the staff could have been friendlier at both check in and check out. The signage around the property could have been better. The hotel is in the middle of a complex and it would have been helpful to have some signs pointing to the hotel entrance. It would have been nice for the property to have a discount deal with the parking garage. When I checked out, I mentioned a small problem with the room (shower drain cover was loose). I could tell this was going to be ignored. I also wanted to check out of 1 of 2 rooms I had booked and was told that they wanted to do them at the same time. I had checked out of 1 of 2 rooms at other hotels during the trip. This was an exception. There was no “sorry for the inconvenience” expressed. The room was clean. The hotel was well maintained.

Staff was wonderful especially the hostess/bartender Rita. Hotel is further from the city center, but easily accessible with a short train ride. Surrounding area is quiet and calm making for a good night sleep.
