Stayed for one night- played golf on the Mystic Lake course, ate dinner in one of the restaurants, gambled and checked out the next day. Rooms are nice, golf course was great- very challenging and fun. Unfortunately the people who work at this resort are among the most unfriendly, unwelcoming people I've ever run into at a hotel. The woman running the alcohol cart was in a bad mood, the security guy warned us of being too far from our bags in the lobby while telling other guests they couldn't sit in a chair with their eyes closed and the dealers at the tables obviously did not like their jobs. The idea of being nice and welcoming to guests is a foreign concept. It's like everyone there has a chip on their shoulder and has been instructed not to be nice to guests. This was about as far from "Minnesota Nice" as you can get. By contrast, I played a very nice golf course elsewhere in town the next day where everyone was wonderful and welcoming. Too bad because the property and course are nice.
