We've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years. Unfortunately, there has been a steady decline in the general upkeep, cleanliness and breakfast quality. The first room we entered had an bad odor so we requested a new room. The staff graciously switched us into a different room which smelled ok and appeared to be cleaner. After moving our stuff in, we noticed damage to the walls, door frames and even dried boogers on a wall. The bathroom tile and walls had been repaired but the quality of the repairs was lacking. Overall all grime in the wall cracks and around the tub was substandard. However, beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast options in the morning were sub par. No ingredients on the small yogurt packages, no dates on the wrapped bagels, sandwiches, etc., eggs were grainy and watery and the breakfast sausage looked bleak. Thankfully there was a waffle making machine and some prepacked jelly containers. In my opinion, the lower price was a great value in the past but now it reflects the quality of the stay. There are better value options in town and unfortunately, we don't plan on booking a stay in the future.
