Arrived later than planned, staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly and managed to still get a meal in the restaurant. A friendly traditional hotel with high standards of cleanliness and good service. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent but the toilet cistern in our first floor room took some 15 minutes to refill causing some problems.

Upon arrival I was welcomed and checked in. I had dinner which was good pub food. Room was clean and tidy. The decor is perhaps a little tired but doesn’t bother me. Breakfast was included. Full Scottish was lovely. Not greasy at all and good sized portion. If I’m in the area I would stay again.
