Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. God mat. Rum och servering känns som en liten tidsresa bakåt tiden. Rum med heltäckningsmatta och väldigt daterat badrum med plastmatta och äldre standard. Duschen lät som ett tröskverk och bara tvål fanns till hands, inte schampo och balsam. Mycket lyhört från puben nedanför, men även när rumsgrannar snarkade och trafik utanför (öronproppar var framlagda). Sköna sängar och rena fräscha sängkläder, dock fläckar på prydnadskuddarna. Standardfrukosten hade det grundläggande, men inget extra. Lagad frukost kunde beställas (ingick i priset). Summa summarum ett ok ställe för en natt men att så att man vill stanna något längre än så. Själva puben som tillhör boendet är mycket populär på helgerna.

The White Swan Inn was a lovely place to stay in a quaint village full.of character and charm. Our room was clean, and presentable, the staff were very friendly and accomodating, and the food was of excellant quality both Dinner and Breakfast, using locally sourced produce. The bar is full of the locals who are very friendly and welcoming, and the pub sits in the heart of the community. I would definately recommend the White Swan Inn for a relaxing stay.

This was an amazingly relaxed place to visit. The white horse inn was brilliant.lots of little touches that embellished the visit. Top quality and extremely good value for money. Food was fantastic , the fish pie and stake and ale pie would really have me coming back. Their ales are great and if your a cider drinker they likely have one you'll appreciate. Didn't want to leave. Go and visit a community pub. You'll see one here.

Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The two most basic things you need are the ability to sleep well and shower the next morning, but sadly this didn’t deliver on either. The first warning sign was the earplugs that we found next to the bed when we arrived, which we had to use when the pub downstairs had a lockin until 12.30am. Then, next morning the electric shower managed warm water for one of us but then produced no hot water after that. And going down to the bar to raise these concerns before check out there was only the chef around, so we just decided to leave. It was a shame because the food in the pub was great and it’s in a good location. But the rooms are very basic and tired, and the reality for us was very different to all of these overwhelmingly positive reviews.

We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious.
