10/10 Exceptional

My room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of available in-room amenities: coffee maker, fridge, iron & ironing board, tv, WiFi, microwave. The shower worked well and the towels were plush. The bed was very comfortable. I sat out on my deck every morning and had coffee to the pleasant sounds of the mountains and forest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Great little place. This place has a little coffee maker/fridge/microwave, skylight, usable wifi, and a wonderful wood decor. I liked the attention to details such as forks, plates for us to use, along with paper towels. Will stay again with the fam if we are in the area

Magical oasis in the mountains

Wow is what comes to mouth first when I want to share about my stay here... this spot is a gem!!! I love the rustic log-cabin-like feel to my large and accommodating room. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom large and clean and the fireplace as well as tiny kitchenette made this room the most magical lovely solo getaway for me preparing for an intensive professional retreat, including using it as a workspace with all of the varied comfortable seating options. Highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Good value and clean. I am glad I brought ice with me otherwise you had to get ice from motel lobby 's small portable home ice makers. Also shower water is so strong I had to put a washcloth around head so it wouldn't peel off my skin. TV should be mounted on wall across from beds for better viewing.

Pros: INDOOR swimming pool and large Jacuzzi.Huge koi in adjacent pond. Quiet environment. Room walls soundproof ! My room was updated nicely. Plenty of towels. Good beds. Cons: Spa needs re-surfacing. Week earlier, our room was Not updated and was dark and dingy. So ask for updated room! Trees are pretty, but drop sap - suggest parking in open area.

4/10 Fair

When we first got in, we were given a room with no heater with 30 degree weather and windy. The room was freezing and I have a baby. My family was freezing we were all wearing coats and stuff inside just to stay warm. Only a couple hours later, did they tell us to change to a room with a heater. Then it was much better. But we were not able to enjoy our evening because we were freezing an they weren't doing anything about it. At least we were able to sleep comfortably because we were finally given a room with a heater.
Shoshana, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room wasn’t completely clean when we checked in, we had to borrow a vacuum to clean up debris left from prior guests. The staff lives on premesis but nobody actually staffs the front desk. You have to ring a doorbell & bother them anytime you need something. Since the pool is under lock & key anytime you want to use it you must sign up & ring the doorbell & get the key & the staff just doesn’t seem to want to be bothered. Nobody was rude, but for what seems like a small family run business they don’t seem very happy to be there. The place would be so much better if they would just allow everyone to use the pool without the hassle. Oh and they leave their dogs in a fenced area outside all day & anytime someone walks by the bark like crazy. So forget trying to take an afternoon nap between activities.
Laura, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Overall the place was good, front desk was very nice. The place was cozy, the room we stayed in had a special key to lock the door from the inside due to a prior visitor that had broke it. It’s a glass sliding door. The key they provided us with unfortunately did not lock it from the inside, we couldn’t get it to lock. So we ended up sleeping with the door unlocked. Room service didn’t make it back to our room I had to go up front for towels and the iron. I would probably stay there again but diffidently in a different room.

Laura, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Have stayed here several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were snowed in as we slep and the next morning worried about how to get out the steep driveway in and out of the property. The people in front made the mistake of stopping near the top and got stuck. The manager (owner?) and son rushed to their aid and worked in the snow to get them out. They instructed me (no chains) on how to do it and it worked like a charm and out we went. The room was comfortable including the beds except for the metal skirt around the bed which made noise when you moved too much. The indoor pool and spa are nice and kept up. Nice relaxing stay.
