City Centre Convenience

A lovely boutique style hotel within a short walk of all the sights Bayeux has to offer. Our room was clean and comfortable, with views of the cathedral. Aircon was excellent. Shower a bit tight but not a problem. The staff were superb, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Johnny and Mathieu for their help with the new, simple (!!!???) toll free motorway charges. Chaotic!!! Mathieu sent us to his Tabac ami who sorted our problem. Brits beware!! All's well that end well.

We very much enjoyed this hotel. It’s very comfortable and they have beautiful updated rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful! It’s located very close to restaurants and shops, as well as right at the main pick up & drop off location for many tours.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Churchill. Perfectly located, thecteam could not be more helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. They have a wonderful breakfast room and a lovely outdoor courtyard. Look no further than the Churchill for your stay in Bayeux!

The Churchill, Bayeux.

Lovely hotel located in the centre of old Bayeux, literally a two minute walk from the tapestry museum (although the museum is closing soon for refurbishment). The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. There is lots of WW2 memorabilia on display around the hotel which is interesting. Our room was perfect for a couple and was clean and well decorated and had air conditioning. We chose the option of a continental breakfast which had lots to choose from. We stayed here as a stopover, spending the day in Bayeux before heading to Caen for the night ferry. This worked well and we will be looking to do the same next summer!

Great nights sleep and very clean

Very comfortable and quiet. I loved the layout of one twin in the room attached to the bathroom and the other beds in another room. I slept very well, which is high praise. The breakfast cost was too high though.

Very nice hotel. We ended up here because everything else was booked in the city. Missed a fridge in the room and the walls were a bit thin, so one could easily hear the television and talking from other rooms. Otherwise, perfect location, right in the centre in one of the main streets. Breakfast was nice, fresh croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and welcoming. We were especially impressed and grateful to Carol who went to great lengths to help us figure out parking for our rental car — including lending us her personal blue parking pass for one of the days of our stay. Great breakfast, as well!

The flooring pattern in the sleeping room is identical as it is in the bathroom such as it is almost impossible to see that there's a step down. The first time I fell I was bruised and bloodied where my elbow tried to break my fall. After another fall at the same place, I put duct tape in the doorway to remind the drop. Otherwise, everything else was terrific, particularly the location.
