Expérience très décevante

Nous avons été extrêmement déçu par cet hôtel Tout d’abord il faut expliquer qu’il n’y a pas de personnel sur place; toute les consignes d’installation sont données par texto avec les codes nécessaires. À notre arrivée, la chambre désignée n’avait pas été faite! Nous avons donc appelé la personne de garde qui nous a donné un autre code pour une chambre plus grande mais vieillotte Le lendemain nous sommes descendus à 9h pour le petit déjeuner que nous avions réservé; la salle était fermé à clef! Nous avons retéléphoné à la personne de garde qui nous a dit qu’il n’avait pas eu l’info et que il allait faire venir quelqu’un pour le préparer mais qu’il y en avait au moins pour 1h. Nous ne pouvions attendre tout ce temps, nous avons demandé le remboursement du petit déjeuner non pris; comme nôtre réservation avait été faite sur « hôtel.com » il nous a dit de faire la réclamation sur leur site; chose qui a été faite. La réponse de « hôtel.com « après contact avec le responsable de l’hôtel c’est que nous avions eu droit à un petit déjeuner buffet ????? Et que nous avions été surclassés pour la chambre non prête. Établissement à fuir absolument car sans parler des prestations non fournies, la non reconnaissance des erreurs commises par le responsable reste inadmissible. Tout ça pour la modique somme de 99€!!!!!

Hôtel médiocre. Nettoyage des chambres non fait régulièrement. Poubelle pleine quand arrivé dans la chambre. les photos pour la vente ne correspondent pas a la chambre reçu. Petit déjeuner correct mais si vous souhaitez du salé, il faut ajouter 10€ Personnel sympathique

Not to be repeated, ever.

This place shouldn't really be classified as a hotel, it's old and decrepit, the reception when we arrived was inaccessible, we weren't given any information by email on how to access it and the lady who eventually opened the door only spoke French so we interpreted various codes to access the lift, the front door and the room. The furnishings are anything from 20-40 years old, the room was beyond basic with no air conditioning and upon leaving the window open to be able to sleep all we could hear all night long was the TV from the vitual restaurant downstairs (3 floors down) that is open for people to pay minimum €10 for microwave meals that you heat and eat yourself. There is no comfort to be had here - I mistakingly believed some of the better reviews but please don't and give this place a wide berth - stay anywhere else. We did find a lovely restaurant within the town which was good for a Sunday evening but the hotel we could have done without. Just to say even access to the pool is strange, you have to walk out the front door, onto the Main Street, round the corner, past piles of rubble and rubbish and dog mess and through a garden into a pool that we had to Clean ourselves. A strange terrible place.

Une étape très satisfaisante

Au vu des commentaires, j'ai hésité à m'arrêter aux Portes du Cantal. Vieillot ? je dirais ancien et peut-être un peu kitsch mais cela ne dérange en rien le confort. Les fondamentaux plus rarement respectés qu'on ne le pense sont respectés. Ma chambre était au calme, côté piscine. Mon sommeil léger n'a pas bronché. Et il faisait nuit. Un volet roulant automatique (vieillot ?) vous offre un noir complet comme je les aime. Mais si on préfère une légère luminosité, il y a aussi un rideau... Petit déjeuner simple mais efficace. Hôte et hôtesse avenants. En résumé, un bon séjour et si je repasse par là, ce sera mon étape.
