Hotel has a very good location for proximity to Chester, Liverpool & Cheshire Oaks. The hotel is beside a very busy road day & night and this makes the room we stayed in very noisy. The receptionist at check in was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & tidy just the low ceilings made it rather cramped.

I was on a course at Wrexham University and opted to stay just outside of Wrexham. Lovely little place. Spotlessly clean too. Lovely, friendly owners and a lovely bar meal had. The heating my in room was broken but was informed on check in and an alternative made available! Great!

The hotel was very clean good standards. All the staff very friendly and gave excellent service. We didn't eat evening meal but they looked very nice but we did eat the breakfast which was excellent and there was to much for me too eat. Outstanding overnighter for a day at Chester Races

Stayed at Rowton Poplars for the night whilst visiting Chester Races. This is a beautiful little hotel with very high standards. Accommodated an early check in for me. Bedroom was comfortable and clean. Good selection for breakfast. I only had the sausage and egg muffin but it was very high quality and delicious. I can highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a couple of nights to use as a good base for Chester.
