We ordered an ocean view and could not see the ocean from our room. The WiFi was unusable from our room and our bedding was damp. We had to run the water for 30 mins to get hot water. The hotel layout is weird, we had to walk 20 mins to get to some of the restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t get any reservations for the first two nights, so we barely got to try any of the a la carte restaurants. The ones we did try, the food was mediocre. Service was a hit or miss, we had to wait 40 mins to place our order for one of the restaurants. The beach was filled with boats so the view wasn’t very scenic. The pools were nice though.

Average stay - some good and some not so good

Our stay along with 3 other families was average, with some good things and others not so good. Upon arrival, we were disappointed as we were told that our BOOKED room type (pool view) was not available. Why? When I pre-booked it, why was it not available? To compensate, we were given the UNIQUE access (which included access to different pools, buffet and some other amenities) but now our friends and us were divided. We had to call someone to our room immediately as the sink was clogged and TV was not working. Sink was fixed, but TV did not work during our entire trip. Other than that, restaurants are accessible and nice, plenty of bars all around, really nice main pool and activities around. Food is pretty OK (nothing out of the ordinary), beach is nice and people are mostly friendly. We also had an unpleasant experience at their FOTOEVENTS shop where we negotiated the group photoshoot price with their salesperson and after spending an hour taking photos and then going to their shop to collect the photos, we were told that they would not honor that price. Eventually after a lot of back and forth, they agreed on a price still higher than the quoted price as we just didn't have time to waste there (lesson learnt - get the quoted price in writing). Overall - OK stay, but prob won't return there and would like to explore different options in Punta Cana.

could of been a more memorable trip...

property is gorgeous, but the service was sub par. often wiating for 15 min to get a drink orders, many times already well into meal before even water was filled. all alcoholic drinks are overly filled with alcohol, not even pleasant. none of the scheduled activities were ever on time, we were there as a family with a 3 year old child, so it was frustrating to have to wait one hour at times for the evnts to start late, if they ever even started at all. many events NEVER took place, which was waste of time going to those events or wiating to only be a lost time that we could of utelized elsewhere. of course these were the most frustrating top 3 points, but there are half a dozen others that i would say fell short of all expecations from an all inclusive resort. i shared the same feedback directly with the hotel, but was ignored with no response. also disappointing... hopefully i get some reply from you to address these issues. it was not a cheap expense, i had higher expecations, especially from a prominent company like lopisan.

Lopesan Resort nice for an all inclusive!

Our family enjoyed Lopesan. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and the balcony was well furnished with a beautiful view of the property & ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful.The main pool is quite large, beautiful but there's not enough lounge chairs. If you're not claiming a chair by 9am, you won't find one! The first day we had to leave our towels & sandals by the toddlers water park pool and walk to the main pool. The other disappointment was the difficulty of making restaurant reservations. You should know that not all restaurants welcome children, therefore making a reservation more difficult. For an all inclusive this large, there isn't enough restaurants. The buffet is always available and offers a large and varied assortment of food, which is good. All in all this is a very nice all inclusive resort.

Happy 18th Birthday Princess!!

This resort is absolutely amazing. I chose to visit this all inclusive resort to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. The entire staff did a excellent job to make this vacation special. Jose was great in helping me with the check-in process.The entire staff was pleasant and very helpful attentive throughout our stay. The gentleman working inside Nexus Tours located on site did a great job with helping us to plan some off site excursions. I'll definitely be returning to this resort in the near future. Thank you Lopesan staff!!
