Hotel is old and dirty. The staff acted like they couldn't care that you were there. The casino was dirty, half of the room the air conditioning did not work. Would not recommend this hotel to my dog let alone any people.

Our room was impeccably clean! The staff throughout the Red Garter are a pleasure to deal with. The casino isn’t overcrowded, so you can always find a table game or slot machine to play without having to wait or wind through crowds of people.

I waited for about 15-20 minutes before I could check in.
Other than that the room was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable.
I did wake up to someone singing loud in the hallway. Sounded like he was having a great time by his self.

Checked in around 1pm, wile finishing my delivery for work, did not go to room, the guy at the desk acted as if i was inconvenient. got back around 8:30pm from work and went to room that was not cleaned from previous guest, bed noy made, towels on floor, and garbage in room. went to desk and was told they were full, and once again treated as an inconvenience. finally found a SMOKING room available in the north 40 back end of hotel, room was adequate but had left over smoking smell. when I left in the morning i was once again treated as inconvenient by same guy from 1pm the day before because i needed a receipt(hard work i know!!). so just FYI i took my gambling dollars next door and did not give you and extra dime for the treatment received!!

It was cheap so expectations were already pretty low. But decently comfortable beds and clean. An okay place to crash for the night. The elevator didn't work so hauling bags up/down a flight of stairs wasn't ideal. The ice machines were out of order. The smoke detector in our room had low batteries so it was beeping. The maintenance guy came and fixed it quickly though. It would be great if there was coffee provided somewhere.

AC worked well. Mattress was hard, elevator does not work, hallway and room had slight unpleasant odor. There was no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker. Did not try their restaurant so I can't comment on the food.
