Staff was very nice and accommodating The area was well situated and the amenities were just enough I wouldnt say its the cleanest place i went to nor that it was the best place to be when it was raining. But, i would definitely go back. View was amazing too

Great stay for the price

The views are absolutely stunning from just looking outside the windows facing the river. The kitchen was fully functional for basic cooking needs, coffee and tea included as well. Our only complaint would be the sewage smell we encountered from the bathroom. Given the age of the area, I imagine it's very difficult to manage mold growth, and this was evident in some areas as well. All and all, would recommend to anyone who wants an affordable option in Alfama and isn't worried about the older nature of this area.

We loved the location and the view from the room was fantastic. - it’s actually a spot all the tourists come to watch the sunset and sunrise! So can be a bit noisy. Bed really comfortable, could do with some new pillows! Kitchen well equipped and functional. Uber dropped us off at top of the street and we later found a lift that took you straight to the property so you don’t have to lug your bags up or down the stairs. Communication with Miku was good.

The pictures made this property look nicer than it was. It wasn't terrible, but the AC unit made strange noises all night that woke me up consistently. The bathroom smelled like something was rotting or moldy. There was hand soap in the shower - no shampoo/body wash. The wood on the countertops was beat up. There were cleaning supplies & trash stuffed in the cabinets that were shown for use as a closet. I could not store my things in them. Communication with the host was very strange. They told me I owed them twice the amount of taxes that was required for my stay. I pointed out the error and asked for clarification. They took a day or so to respond, then told me I was correct about the amount of taxes I had to pay. They asked me to put the cash in the lock box in the middle of the day. I had already left the apartment to explore other cities for the day & wasn't going to be back to put the money in the box until that night. They got very rude & demanding with me when the money wasn't in the box the same day. I explained that I was away from the apartment & assured I would of course pay the tax. I ended up sending them the money via Revolut (European Zelle). They became friendly again. When I was preparing to check out, I messaged them multiple times for check out instructions. They ignored me. So I just cleaned up, locked up, and left the key in the lockbox where I found it. Great location, amazing views, safe. Not a bad stay... but I wouldn't book it again!

Great view in the okd town, but…

the loft apartment is centrally located in the old town, which is 3 mins walk from st luzia and the miradourna sol. The view from the room is great from both the dining place and loft bed. however, i guess its the issue for all apartments in the old town, ceiling is quite low and area is quite small. and seems like many business around the old town are setting up small businesses and bars on the already quite narrow road. can be quite noisy sometimes. and i also see quite a few insects and ants in the bed inside the apartment which is not great.

Great views, Great location!

This was a really cool location in the old part of Lisbon, not far from St George’s castle- we spent a whole day just walking to and from the castle, including several hours their exploring and taking in the magnificent view. There is also a great view from the windows of the apartment, and there was even a little welcome beverage when we arrived. One thing to be aware of is that there are 70 steps going down from the street, and then about another 25 going up a narrow windy staircase to get up to the apartment! We managed okay (all three of us in our 60’s and carrying a big backpack and carry-on bags filled with recently purchased Portuguese pottery!) The bedding for both beds was extremely comfortable! Overall, a great place.

A gorgeous apartment in the streets of Alfama with the best views from your window. The hosts are very accomodating and established excellent communication. I rated it 4 because the power went off in the apartment at midnight, although the hosts communicated efficiently how to make it work again, and the AC broke down too (maybe just a bad day for the aprtment). I would love to stay here again.

Loft Alfama

Ficamos num loft em Alfama bem confortável e aconchegante. Tudo funcionando bem, ar condicionado, TV e chuveiro com ducha quente. Vista linda!! Bem localizado. O ruim é o acesso pois na rua não passa carro e tem uma longa escadaria. Complicado para quem tem dificuldades de locomoção e muitas malas pesadas. Fomos na época da festa da sardinha. Bem animado! Locatários atenciosos nos adicionando num grupo de Whatsapp para nos dar assistência .

Charming flat with lovely view. Location a bit awkward. Diffucult to find. Difficult access, taxi cant get there. Definitely not for suitcases. It was a kind gesture to leave a small bittle of wine but would have been great if some basics like shower gel and soap were avallable. Orherwise great.

Great location with lovely views, very welcoming!

Fantastic location with lovely views, great for walking around, close to line 28 tram! (Although, it is likely too overwhelmed with tourists in peak season to be enjoyable.) Well-equipped complete kitchen. Very friendly welcome and check-in experience (thank you for the welcome bottle of Flor do Campo!). I enjoyed sleeping in the upstairs loft area because of the skylight and view even though it was small.

Nice apartment in an authentic atmosphere

If you want to stay in the center of the oldest part of the Lisbon, Alfama, this is a perfect choice. Tram stop 28 near. Apartment is small but cosy and has beds for 4 people. The apartment is clean and nice and has a great view to an old town. Very nice and welcoming check-in with the personnel. Only negative things: the stairs to an apartment are very steep and the taxi cannot drive to the house door because of the stairs and narrow streets in Alfama. But otherwise highly recommended.
