Lovely Family Villa

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Lacman, the room was clean, light and airy. There was everything you would need in the kitchen and there was cold water in the fridge when we arrived, which was very well received. It is close to a supermarket which has an amazing restaurant above, we ate there twice. Quite a hike up from the port but well worth it. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Hvar. The Lacman family were lovely hosts.

The room was clean & it had great water pressure! We loved the location. It was less than a 10-minute walk to town and to the beach. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The property was adorable and quiet.

Climb hundreds of steps w luggage

2 major issues. First of all it's unclear from the listing that you have to climb hundreds of steps lugging your suitcase to reach the villa. No offer to drive the luggage to the apartment, like the other villas had (something I noticed afterwards). Secondly, they insisted that I could only pay in cash - that is a total tax avoidance move. I would not stay again, and I do not recommend

We had wonderful time at Vila Lacman. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us useful information not only about town Hvar but about whole island. The premises were clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We like location and free parking. We were able to walk to the town, beaches and grocery stores. We loved the space and the location was even good but every night we were awakened by young people stumbling in drunk. One night the kid knocked on the door for several minutes then went and got the owner to come unlock the door! Not a good place to stay if you aren’t going to party. The ladies that greeted us were super nice and very helpful. Just not a good fit for two old people.
