The room I was booked in had an ant problem, I can see a trail going to a hole in the wall. The glass for the bathroom seemed kind of dirty. Only had 1 small towel provided when I entered. It was pretty spacious th- oh my goodness. Is that a blood stain on the wall? And on the pillow?
The staff is really helpful and friendly though. They let me switch rooms and the second room was a bit better.

The worse hotel. Every day the shut down the elevator and on it for few hours. Also every day they shut down the electricity for 2-3 hours. I will never stay in that hotel

I made a reservation about a week prior my arrival, when I got to the hotel they had me sitting and waiting for several hours, they had no idea about my reservation even after me providing all that they ask for went as far as calling Expedia to had the talk to the staff at the hotel yet they still couldn’t figure out till the last minute when I was about to cancel the stay and book somewhere els, other they that my stay there was pleasant and don’t have any other complain, I would still prefer other top hotel in town , if you are looking for better service, accommodation was great non the less.

L’objet de mon séjour était de prendre un peu de repos de repos. La première nuit je l’ai passé dans une chambre qui donnée sur l’une des avenue principale. Il y avait tellement de bruit du au trafic, que j’ai passé une nuit horrible. Le lendemain j’ai demandé à de changer de chambre et on m’a fait payé un supplément. Dans le descriptif de la chambre que j’avais réservé, il n’ai pas noté que cette chambre donnée sur l’avenue principale et c’est donc pour cela que l’autre chambre est légèrement plus cher. Il y a un vrai manque de transparence.
Les couloirs (au 2 étages où j’ai finalement séjourné) étaient vraiment bruyant, il y avait des enfants qui jouaient et criaient dans les couloirs à toute heure de la journée, ce qui est vraiment inacceptable pour le standing de l’hôtel. Le personnel devrait être sensibiliser pour assurer un minimum de calme. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment moyen. L’hôtel ne correspond pas au standing attendu. Le personnel est vraiment aimable, ça à l’air d’être une négligence de la part des manager.

nice hotel that's a bit away from the beach
I liked the hotel. It worked nicely for our group. Room was comfortable, staff was friendly. The location is good. Not on the beach, but not a terribly long walk to get to the beach. Breakfast is not really geared around Western tastes, but they don't seem to have so many international guests, at this point. I had some very tasty cheesy omelettes. The only thing that wasn't real good was the temperature of "hot" water in the shower. On our floor, it was barely warm.

The property was clean and most of the staff were friendly, but there were a few instances that made me question that this is actually a 5 star hotel. On the day we arrived the check-in was delayed for some reason even though we had arrived past the mentioned check-in time, so they asked us to wait for about an hour past the actual check-in time to be able to get our room. While waiting we decided to get some lunch in the hotel restaurant, the server firstly didn't speak English and added something to our order that we didn't even ask for and got charged for. They also haven't updated their price list on their menu, we asked for 2 drinks that was for 200taka on the menu but when we received the bill it turned out that the price had changed to 320taka which was almost the price of one of the dishes we ordered and they didn't inform us of the price change. The food was good but the experience left a bad taste. The remainder of our stay was okay until the moment we were about to check out. We were preparing and getting ready to leave when one of the housekeeping employees decided it was okay for them to just enter our room without knocking or asking permission to enter our room only for him to use the washroom(not for cleaning). Luckily we were dressed and not undecent. When we confronted them, all they could say is that it human error and that the person in question was fired. We were more concerned about how the management handled it as there was a clear lack of communication.
