The member of staff who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The bedding was dirty. I used the quilt cover as a sleeping bag. No tea making facilities. Shared bathrooms were grubby and no toilet paper.

Cheap for a reason, the bar, public area and kitchen non-existent. No tv , a dodgy kettle, two of the three sinks didn’t dispense water, shared toilet and shower were grubby. Laundry was clean though.

NO NO NO NO NOT, EVER!

Please do NOT ever consider sleeping at this place. It is complelety unsanitary, this meaning dirty stained sheets, pillows and duvet covering a body fluid, infested, filth ridden mattress underneath. Shared bathroom for 11 separate rooms on the upstairs of a Public House, The Swan. We walked in and was instantly made very welcomed by the handful of locals. We check the room and realised instantly that being paid a million pounds wouldnt be enough to stay here!! The locals downstairs however are the most kindest, caring, funny people I have ever met. A local couple, in the pub allowed us to stay at their house with them for our 2 day stay and we will be friend's for life. DO NOT BOOK TO STAY HERE, CALL IN FOR A BEER BUT DONT EVER CHECK IN.

Disgusting. I wouldn’t stay here if you paid me.

DISGUSTING! Last minute desperation booking 30mins before arrival. It is dirty. Rotten furniture. Terrible condition throughout. No towels. I honestly wouldn’t expect anyone to ever stay here. I wouldn’t stay here again, even if you paid me. People seemed nice enough tho.

The address on web site was misleading, i had spent £25.00 on taxi to get there, the place not as i expected, althought i understand you get what you paid for, but iw was disappointing, went in the room, the bed was clean, the bathroom has been refurish, but no wifi and no television the wire was hanging off the wall. It was noisy and door bangings. It was not a good night

Pros: friendly staff, near LHR Mid: nearest bus is 10 min walk Cons: Rooms need : cleaner towels, 1 extra pillow, clean bedding (all were worn), ideally a lamp and mirror. Heating never came on. No aircon. The bathrooms are not clean, but they are communal. There are cleaning products out on the side but the immigrant/transit travellers who stay there have dubious hygiene. Toilet was left with bog roll in, floor v wet after bathing. Bring a fistful of disinfectant wipes, feet covers for shower and earplugs.

You get what you pay for

The staff were pleasant. The room adequate. It was just two single beds and a chest of drawers, which were broken! There was a tv, but we never tried it. There is a shared bathroom area for all rooms. The toilet room was okay but the basin didn't work and there was no toilet paper. The shower room was disgusting. There was a toilet with a broken seat and still no toilet paper. The shower was so dirty, ran slowly and was cold. No thank you! We just needed somewhere cheap for an overnight stay. I guess they are right when they say you get what you pay for. It was a really cheap night £46 for a twin room. I got what I expected for the money. I've tried to be as fair with my review but it was hard to justify scoring higher based on the state of the place.

I will not stay here again and would not recommend it. The pub is closed . You access the front door and room via text message with the codes. There are no staff on sight. There were no towels provided. A kettle but no cups . Communal bathroom was unacceptable. Poorly maintained. The bedsheet were clean but no mattress protection and it didn’t look good.. this could be a great place to stay due to the location of the airport and a nice quiet residential area. It needs a big investment and could be turned into a nice accommodation for short over night stays with car parking provided..

DO NOT STAY HERE! Broken Divan bed with dirty sheets. Wires hanging off walls. Electrical sockets made my plug so hot it burnt me. NO running water in the bathroom at all, from sink or shower. Broken tiles on bathroom floor cut my toe open. Hundreds of dead flies in the see-through lampshade.

Filthy hovel. Had to ring to get access. Bathroom unclean, floor uneven and dirty. Sheets may have been clean but bed itself dirty. Kettle but no cups. Water only trickled. Toilet paper on toilet brush. Shower disgusting. No TV just an aerial, TV stand only had the kettle. No Wi-Fi despite advertising this. No bar. Internet search suggested it closed in 2019. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Only remained as we had an early flight from Heathrow. Should be removed from your site and reported to the local council and hopefully closed down.

I don’t know. But I have never stayed in such a filthy place in all my 70 years. The ingrained dirt was disgusting. Blocked toilets full of excrement. A shower that looked like it had had a mud bath and toilet seats broken. The smell of poo and cannabis everywhere was foul. Never again.

Booked for a member staff She was not the only person that refused to stay that night Even the locals joke you must be brave to stay there. Hotels.com should be ashamed to put this place on display
