We had a wonderful stay at Grand Central and staff are a credit to this hotel, as made our weekend very special. Would certainly recommend. Beautiful clean hotel didn't hear a sound at night time slept so well. The view from our bedroom window was amazing we were on the 16th floor it was amazing. The 23rd floor is the cocktail bar it was so lovely and clean the views spectacular. An amazing hotel.

Not a five star and not worth the money. The room is like any basic hotel room. The staff at the front desk were very polite. Day 1 eve: asked the front desk for instant coffee packs. He said they’ll send. No one showed up. Day 2: arrived back to room at 5ish. Cleaners missed our room. We left and came back in Eve. Room cleaned but no toilet paper. Very disapppinting.

I don’t comprehend how this property is a five star hotel while it has no fitness center and no pool. One main reason we booked it was that it said it has valet. But when we arrived there was no doorman around to ask where to unload. And they said their valet is full, directing us to a self parking 10 minutes away. Again there was no one around to help us with our luggage to our room. Again they said they got overwhelmed. Handing these situations is what separates real 5 star hotels from the ones that are 5 star only on paper.

From the moment we stepped into reception we were impressed by the grandeur of the hotel. We were welcomed by the Concierge and directed to Reception where we were assisted by a lovely Irish young lady. From start to finish all the staff made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Our room was luxurious and immaculate, serviced daily. Breakfasts were delicious. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which offered a variety of delights. The bars were beautifully appointed and the Observatory a must see. We can't wait to visit again.
