We recently stayed at D8 Hotel and found the experience to be average overall. The hotel is well located, with easy access to many key attractions in Budapest, which is a definite plus.
However, we were quite disappointed by the breakfast service. I requested gluten-free bread due to an intolerance, but none was provided. On a separate occasion, I was directed to rye bread as an alternative, which unfortunately does contain gluten. This is a serious oversight and unacceptable for guests with dietary restrictions or intolerances.
Additionally, the rooms were very small and offered only minimal amenities, which made the stay less comfortable than expected.
The central location is the hotel’s strongest point, but there is room for improvement in guest care and attention to dietary needs.
