Room was excellent with all the amenities needed. Would’ve been 5 stars but for access to the rooms being blocked by people stood in the stairways waiting for a comedy show. But this was also due to my awkward arrival time.

Comfortable bed, looks fab, friendly pub landlord, Greta location, Great bathroom - large size, nice view, roll top, walk in shower... No extractor fan meant mirror steamed up and poor lighting to.use bedroom mirror. E.g 2 people couldn't really get ready to go out at the same time.

They rooms need a bit of tender care. Starting to show their age. Overall no complaints. Great location, get price, great shower. Whats not to like. Pillows have seen their day so i would say please replace them way too soft.

This is NOT a three-star hotel. It’s not even a hotel! It’s got a few rooms upstairs from a mediocre pub. I cannot believe so many people have raved about this place. What is the appeal? I was fooled into thinking I’d be staying in a charming inn, and instead it was a three-story walk-up to a tiny, badly-lit room with worn out carpeting. People said it was conveniently located, and instead it was in an unappealing, semi-suburban neighborhood with poorly lit streets well outside the main city — think Queens instead of Manhattan. The wifi didn’t work, the air conditioning didn’t work, and one of the faucets didn’t work. And it was NOT cheap - almost $200 a night, all told! We stayed there before heading to the Cotswolds for three days, and decided not to return on the fourth day as planned. I tried to cancel our reservation three full days in advance — for a Thursday night, not a weekend — and was told they have a “no cancellation policy.” I understand why, because once you see what this place really is, you’ll want to cancel the rest of your stay, too. Do not be fooled by the reviews.

Great location, smooth check in and comfortable room. Very clean, big, stylish bathroom with roll top bath and separate walk in shower. Decent breakfast available at the weekend in the pub downstairs. Friendly staff, great value, a bit of a hidden gem.

The room was ok but no main light in the room just lamps one of the plugging point was loose from the wall plus the blind didn't go full down so couldn't block the morning light the bath room was amazing with the options of a bath or a separate shower the bed was comfy but the window did nothing to help block the traffic noise which means i really didn't have a gd sleep at all

We loved the character of the building, bed was very comfortable, restaurant had really good food. We found out there are comedy shows in the building, had a great time attending. Overall a great experience, would stay again!

Great value

I just needed to stay for 1 night near to the river and the Tommyfield was both convenient, and good value. Checkin was good, the room was spacious and quiet (except for someone hoovering before 7am), clean and comfortable. The pub looked nice but I didn’t get the opportunity to try it.

Hotel was really clean and room is spacious and a really nice bathroom. Check in was easy but they do like you to check in by 10.30pm which wasn't ideal as we weren't local and we also had some issues with the lock on our door but overall, good stay and reasonably priced for London
