Sketchy

Location is beautiful, but the motel itself was sketchy. I arrived after 8pm and had called ahead to let them know per the booking instructions, they left my key in the door of my room to allow access which is concerning. The deadbolt lock was painted over, the whole room was creaking, the bathroom looks like it hasnt been updated or deep cleaned since the 80s. I was traveling solo for business, would not recommend for other solo female travelers. Luckly there was a large wooden bench i could place infront of the door

Great for our one night stay

This is an older hotel, but perfect for what we needed. Clean and comfortable with great views of the river. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious.

For the price it was not worth it. There is no coffee in room if you want coffee you can go to restaurant for it . No breakfast is served . No deadbolt lock room had a musty smell.

Nice quaint little hotel.

This is an older hotel but is nicely kept, clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Nice overnight stay on our road trip.

Lovely area

I get this a low rating not because we didn’t enjoy this day. We really did enjoy the stay. It needs a little more upkeep. The surrounding area is wonderful. It feels like it’s built into the side of the cliff. I’m sure it’s a day. It was an absolute five star but right now it needs a little care. The restaurant on the site said it was open. It wasn’t the front desk took us nearly 15 minutes to get someone to come to the door we requested a downstairs we got an upstairs. The person that checked to him was pleasant and very likable. But I would say be prepared for a little inconvenience, but we are taking a trip to be in the moment and we enjoyed the stay.

J’ai fait une réservation dans cet hôtel en passant par hôtel.com, mais une fois sur place j’ai du constater que l’hôtel était fermé pour deux raison, rénovation et la saison février 2025. Nous avons quand même toquer chez les propriétaires, qui n’avaient pas reçu notre resa. Ils nous ont donné une chambre quand même, Seul au milieu de nul part sans réseaux cellulaire. Pas très sécurisant quand même. Après si les chambre sont rénové et ouvert avec plusieurs clients je suppose que l’expérience est plus sympas. En tt cas les propriétaires sont cool.

Dog friendly option

Basic, but very clean room with comfy beds. Short dirt trail from in front of our unit to the river, where we saw a great blue heron. Dinner was average but we could take it back to our room. breakfast options were very limited.
