Our host, Eva, was informative and helpful with suggestions about what to do in the area (Lake Almenor & Mt. Lassen). Mt. Lassen was a great NP to visit - and we went to three different parts of the park on each of our three days based in Chester.

We stayed 2 night mid week in the suite- two bedrooms. It was a large space and we enjoyed the comfortable beds. The shared areas were delightful- tables and cushion chairs to relax in , as well as more ares inside the house. Breakfast is from 8:30-9:30, so you can sleep in and go down to a breakfast that is made for once you arrive. Delicious and the coffee was nice and bold!

This is a historic B&B Inn run by a lovely family. The common areas are furnished in old style, giving it a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the quiet in the evening after our visit to the Lassen national park. I definitely recommend this place.
