Overall the state of this B+B was in a very poor state of repair . The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired , with rooms not even having a TV ( i had to ask for one ) . But the most undesireable thing about this place , is the shared bathroom . This pub is run on a shoestring and the condition shows this at every turn . I wouldn't kennel a dog at this place ...

A beautiful ancient building dating back to medieval times and with associations with historical events. Parking at a public car park some 500 metres away- free from 9-10 am with ticket but you have to pay after that. A basic continental breakfast is provided and tea and coffee in the room. Very close to beaches in Bude. We enjoyed our stay but must confess en suite facilities and a TV in the room would have made it better. Good value for money.

Spacious room and a comfortable bed. Just be aware its a shared bathroom and toilet, and a shared kitchen area with a continental breakfast available. The kitchen could have done with a decent clean. We dined in at this pub and the food was reasonable.
