Halte de deux nuits parfaite pour découvrir Angers et ses environs et profiter du calme de la campagne. Manoir magnifique à l’écart du tumulte urbain dans un environnement champêtre. Excellent petit déjeuner, chambre très grande, confortable très bien rénovée. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Stunning ancient stone manor in the angevin countryside, beautifully restored. Our bedroom (Le Roi) - one of four - was huge, and the attention to detail and comfort was outstanding. Hosts Mel and Hywel are charming and efficient. Dinner (three courses including wine, no choice but not intimidating) was delicious; breakfast was exemplary. We will happily go back.

This place is PERFECT! We could only stay one night, We wished it could be longer. The rooms and property are beyond expectations. It was such a beautiful place to spend our tour of France for our Honeymoon even if was brief. The rooms are well presented, the pillows and bed were like a cloud. I cannot fault any of it. The hosts are super sweet and extremely polite and accommodating. They even helped us book a beautiful restaurant for dinner. With again was perfect! Make sure you stay here, you will not be disappointed. We've already started planning our return trip, this time longer than one night

A wonderful overnight stay on our way back to UK. It was one of our favorite places we have stayed during our one-week road trip. The communication from Mel from the moment we booked was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and full of character. The surroundings are stunning, set amongst rolling hills of vineyards and close to Saumur, pretty villages and some stunning Loire chateaux. Mel and Hywel are excellent hosts and ensure you have everything you need. Delicious food and great company. Dinner was prepared by Hywel and served with various accompanying wines from carefully chosen local vineyards. Absolutely perfect in every sense, service and hospitality were 5*. I wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back for a longer stay sometime next year.

A very special place to treasure

Absolutely fantastic stay. Mel and Hywel and superb hosts , we were made so welcome. The accommodation is stunning, beautiful room & en suite with amazing furnishings and perfect touches including coffee maker,& biscuits. We had the Table de Hote on the 3 evenings we stayed - the food was amazing and the wine served with each course specially selected and all from local vineyards. We celebrated a wedding anniversary on our third night and Hywel made it a very special occasion for us. We will definitely be returning and recommending Manoir de Jouramel to friends and family.

A great find!

We loved 'Manoir de Jouralem'. The character is superb and the rooms spacious and extremely comfortable with great bathrooms. The owners are delightful and it is superb value for money. We couldn't fault anything with our stay and we all agreed we would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!
