BOOK AT LEAST 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE! I had a family emergency come up and hoped on here to find somewhere to stay, I was looking into the lodge and booked it for a PAY AT PROPERTY. Maybe thirty minutes later my partner had found me a hotel for a cheaper rate. When I called to cancel my booking they told me that I could not cancel day of, when I explained that I booked day of they told me that it didn’t matter. I never even set foot in their hotel, they charged me $50 and absolutely refused to refund me.

Good for quick Sedona trip

It was very convenient for a short Sedona trip from Phoenix. I was able to check in quickly. The casino is beautiful and had many food and drink options. The hotel room was very basic but had coffee, a tub, a comfortable bed & ice machines. The walls were thin so I heard the tv in the room nextdoor but they went to sleep at a decent hour. I was up early to hike in Sedona and came back late so appreciated having a well priced room to sleep & shower.

Honestly Great Experince, please read details!

The lodge is the original property to the Casino. Do not stay there! Furniture was broken, mattresses very old. No reception or a working land line. We checked into the lodge and immediately left. The staff was so kind and helpful they booked immediately in the newer property where the casino is. It is unfortunate that 3rd party companies do not make it clear.This is where we had a wonderful time. The room was clean smoke free. The casino has brilliantly moved all gambling smokers to a section. This was so pleasant to spend the evenings enjoying the casino.

Sleepless night

We were out in a room away from the casino, which in the beginning we thought was perfect because it was so quiet. Later in the evening that all changed. Through the paper, thin walls, we could hear a baby crying and a television blaring ALL night long. Needless to say, we won’t stay there again.

Will not stay here again.

No internet, We called to report it they said someone will be up. We waited 1 hour and 10 mins and called back to be told that she the front desk clerk had not spoken to. Was then told they would send someone up right away. Waited 20 minutes and nothing I was done. We left.

Our room had a broken bed. They moved us the next day. Train your staff better. I asked at registration if the hotel/casino had food. Was told only Johnny Rockets. Ask if there was steakhouse and/or cafe for breakfast and was told no. On the second day we walked around and found both steakhouse & cafe.

Little things that added up to disappointment.

If you're not familiar with this hotel, the Lodge is separate from the casino by far enough that you need to take a shuttle or drive up a hill to access the restaurants and gambling. The Lodge is motel-style, so your door opens to the parking lot, so expect to hear folks slamming their doors at 6 AM and firing up their big trucks. The wifi does not work, despite the front desk assuring us it did. The hair dryer didn't work. The coffee maker is not a Keurig as advertised but it got the job done (nitpicky but it was just another thing). The buffet at the casino itself is only open Fridays and Sundays, which was yet another little disappointment. All that said, the bed was comfy and the price was right, so 2 stars.
