The view was beautiful, the room was a good size,the bed needs to be replaced. Take a shower in the evening or later at night because the hot water wont last. The breakfast was pretty good for the price we paid and the staff were excellent. For an overnight stay it was fine.

Charmingly rustic stay

The Staff was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. The building is rustic and the beds rather uncomfortable BUT!!! this charming motel just needs more people to go there so that they have the funds to do some upgrades. It is worth your while to stay there

One night - 190 CAD, for a room with bugs

We stayed for one night while traveling on the Cabot trail. The first thing we saw when we came to the room was 2 centipedes and a big cockroach. The room looked ok. The towels in the bathroom were damp, but seemed clean. Breakfast was just microwave omelet and sausage, cereal, bread, coffee/tea. Nothing else - no yogurts or pancakes or anything like that. For the price that we paid of 190 CAD after tax, it really isn't worth the price.

Si pas autre choix

S’il n’y a pas autre choix tu peux y aller mais , ce que nous avons pas aimer , chambre avec odeur d’humidité (il aurait du nous climatisé la chambre avant notre arrivés thermopompe neuf dans toute les chambre en plus ) l’eau a un forte odeur ferreuse. Vieux motel à mur de block de béton , certaine chose on étais mis a neuf par priorité j’imagine

Will Definitely Return

Excellent stopover on our way to Newfoundland. The owner is renovating and there is a marked difference compared to our stay in December. Great location. Good breakfast. Wonderful people.

Not safe to stay here, no privacy in rooms

Stayed in room 16. Felt like staying in an old garage with no insulation. Painted brick walls and tin ceiling with no soundproofing that you could hear all the noise from the upstairs room. Musty smell and damp inside the unit, it started making us cough and feel sick so we checked out early for the sake of our health and safety. Window coverings do not fully cover the window, no privacy or ability to blackout the room when sunrise is around 5:30am in the summertime. Unit had a new heat pump unit but does not have a wall control, management has a remote for the heat pump they "forgot" to give us. The unit was in very rough shape and dirty. Don't drink the tap water or use it to brush your teeth, it had a funky smell and reminded me of being in the Dominican Republic where tap water is only for the toilet and shower.

Je ne recommande pas mais je ne déconseille pas.

Un motel très délabré qui semble cependant être en situation de restauration, avec des travaux très décousus. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt mauvais avec une vaisselle en carton et la viande et l'omelette plutôt écoeurant. Sinon cet hôtel est idéalement placé pour les voyageurs peu regardant qui souhaitent parcourir la route 30 trail cabot. Personnellement, je n'y retournerai pas, quitte à payer un peu plus cher.

Old doesn’t scare me if it’s clean - nightmare

Room with water view but impossible to see through dirty windows. Terrible breakfast. Need deep cleaning and renovation.

Gteat location with lovely views

This Inn is in a great location with lovely views. The owner is a very friendly & nice guy, it looked to us like he is in the process of renovating the property and is doing a good job. The thing that is letting it down is the breakfast , it was of poor quality and the breakfast room isn't very welcoming. This has all the makings of a great place once a few things are tweaked.
