Are first time stay at lake erie lodge. When i stay at a hotel i always check first the beds and bathroom. I had no need to check that at lake erie lodge. Im talking this place is clean. The owners r wonderful ppl and try to accommodate you anyway they can. This lodge is well taken care of. Close to the beach and the park. Please if you ever consider a trip to erie pa look up this hotel. Pool is outside and taken care of

Host was not professional came off racist not very welcoming at all then after going to property to get a refund host said it was a 48 hour cancellation on other platforms you can receive your refund then after that cops came looking for missing persons and then after that I definitely didn’t feel comfortable

It was horrible I already chatted with customer service over it I’m hoping maybe to get some of the costs back. There was no soap in the bathroomit felt extremely dirty, unkept, the towels I was given were grey instead of white because they were dirty or not newly washed , there was a drug bust with 3 cops after we returned from family event that my 10 year old had to witness If I could have had more funds I would have packed up and left myself, a family next door did leave with their two children

This place was very very dirty. I ended up leaving the same day I checked in the bed spreads all stained and the sheets as well. Room was very drafty and not upkept well.

Toxic chemicals sprayed on surfaces upon arrival and after each return. Heaters all emit toxic fumes so room was cold and uninhabitable. Seems like a laundromat for meth production.

I booked 3 adults in a room and requested a roll-away bed on the Expedia site. The guy checking us in seemed surprised and had no beds to supply. He gave us some bedspreads and one of us slept on the floor. The bedspread on one bed had burn marks in it. The fixtures in the bathroom shower were not fastened and the drains in the sink and shower were slow to drain. Needed to request for additional towels and the soaps were so small, wouldn't last through one shower. However, pluses include it was the cheapest place in the area, the TV and the refrigerator worked fine, checkout and check in were rather painless and McDonalds was next door for breakfast. We will probably stay there again but will bring a blow-up mattress next time.
