I liked the reception desk, the bar, and the staff. The room was adequate for our needs. We liked the the fact that the hotel had air conditioning since the temperature was abnormally very high during out stay. The hotel is centrally located for visiting the old town as well as the rest of Bamberg - a beautiful town and wonderful to visit.

Very nice hotel. The room was small, but very nicely furnished. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning works very well. It can be loud sometimes, but it usually quiets down after a while. Breakfast was nice with lots of vegetarian options. I liked that everything was labelled and allergens were listed for each dish. Beware that the hotel parking garage is usually full if you arrive in the evening or late afternoon. You can park at the Parkhaus Zentrum Süd/Schützenstraße, which is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel and costs a maximum of 18€ per day.

Comfortable stay in a historical town

The hotel is just near the Bamberg town centre area, with about 10 mins walk you may reach to most of the historical attractions such as the Dom, the Altes Rathaus etc. The room was comfortable and very clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. It’s surely the best choice for a leisure stay in Bamberg.

All Ibis hotels are pretty much the same; clean, sparse, friendly staff. The location of this hotel is fantastic. A short walk or cab from Hbf and a short walk to all of tourist Bamberg. The market just around the corner had wonderful, ripe, Franconian peaches.

Property is in an excellent location a short walk from the sites we wanted to see. Loved the idea of how this hotel attempt to serve visitors but bed wasn't very comfortable nor was seating in room. There was seating int he reception area that was comfortable. Breakfast was good and had something for everyone.

Apparently honest reviews containing justified criticism are not welcome, as I was asked to revise a perfectly fine and fair review several times. I will not revise again. The room was tiny, not comfortable and sparsely furnished. Breakfast was a highlight. The location was very convenient.
