This is in a cute little village, away from the chaos of Cortina, but close enough that Lago di Braies is a 10-minute drive, Tre Cime is around a 40 minute drive, and Cortina is around 45 minutes by car. The staff were fantastic, both the check in desk and the kitchen staff, and the cleaning person. You can easily walk into the heart of Villabasa for a coffee, the corner grocery store or Mexico City restaurant.
