Very nice property and an outstanding staff 15 minutes from Vik. The hotel is about a two minute drive from the main road. Loved the birds along the 2 minute drive to the hotel.

6/10 Good

We arrived after dark, and there's NO area lighting to navigate from the unmarked gravel parking onto the sidewalk and to the door, which has no awning (like most others), so we needed flashlights just to get the luggage in. Our room was spacious, but the toilet & shower were very cramped, and the towels were out-of-reach. It seemed slightly overpriced compared to our other hotels, but not by much. This was the first time I've seen a vending machine with soft drinks, snacks, toothpaste, & feminine products, but the room was quiet & dark. A few PD(USBC) sockets would be welcome, as would better signage at the highway and better road maintenance.

A quiet retreat during a long trip, yet convenient to everything the South Coast of Iceland has to offer. The breakfast was great; staff were helpful on checkin and during my stay when I had done questions.
