This was a small, simple apartment that has a basic kitchenette, which is essential for any Iceland vacation because of the cost of food there. The parking was a bit confusing, we thought we would have access to parking but we later learned that our unit didn't have an assigned spot after all. Accessing the unit was easy with the provided codes, no issues there. The unit had blackout curtains which really helps when days are long. The location was great. The unit was on the 4th floor, no elevator, so be prepared for stairs.
This is out of the hosts' control, but the water in this building seemed to be more smelly than other places I have stayed in the country. The smell did not go away even after letting the cold water run for a while. I would recommend that you buy water before you arrive if you are sensitive to smells.
I just have one suggestion for the hosts : please consider installing a shower door.
