Disappointed with the stay
No elevator within the building. There is a tight window for check-in otherwise they will charge you extra, even though it is all done on your phone once you arrive. Furniture is tiny, 'couch' is torn up, and uncomfortable; not relaxing after a full day of exploring. There was a large dirty mouse pad outside the bathroom used as a rug? Booked a city view room but had a view of the alley and parking lot. After our third day, as we were entering the building, we were stopped by a stranger walking up claiming to be an owner, and questioned incessantly for our personal information before being allowed inside the building, despite already have checked in and having the key to enter the building. They said it is because of security but they don't understand customer service and how rude and frightening their behavior truly is. Building is not owned by Japanese / locals so you will not receive Japanese level hospitality.
