Great location and having access to the Y's full gym and pool is fantastic. The accommodations are dorm-like, but definitely better than hostel with private bedrooms with a mini fridge and individual shared bathrooms rather than a multi-stall public bathroom. I felt safe, and it was very quiet. Overall, it's not as comfortable as a traditional hotel, but the gym, location, and value make it an excellent option for someone traveling on a budget.

tv set up very poor, had to have a maint guy come and set it all up, even then, changing stations or returning to a previous station, difficult at best, TV set up terrible. Rest ok and what you'd expect at a Y.

Just what I was looking for - somewhere inexpensive to sleep the night away after attending a workshop. Great location! There was a $10 registration fee when I checked in that I didn't know about; but, was happy to pay. Basically, a worn yet clean dorm room (tv, free wifi, heat, air condition) and clean shared bathrooms (single and multiple - your key or code lets you in). Traveling alone and female, I felt very safe at the YMCA. The building is locked after operation hours - 9:00pm/weekdays and 5:00pm weekends - security or your room key lets you into building after hours. If you like more than an adequate towel, bring your own. Even though I spent Saturday night there, it was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. I am happy to have found the YMCA and look forward to staying there again.

Filthy room, stains on floor, floor had not been mopped in years, asked for a single room but got bunk beds, broken window shades, door needed paint. Bathrooms were filthy - broken toilet seats, toilet not working. Some repairs in the walls left gaping holes without covering the holes. Since 2021 the facility had declined terribly. It was never in such a horrible state before. I will not go there again.

A começar pela falta de receptividade do atendente do balcão, despreparado e debochado. O prédio é antigo logo as instalações também são. Não espere muita coisa. Mas o que importa é que ninguém entrou no meu quarto e meus pertences ficaram lá da forma que eu deixei. Acomodação simples. Banheiro coletivo com água fria demora muito esquentar e fica intermitente (frio e quente). Porta do box onde fica o sanitário não trava, fica aberta. Muito barulho nos corredores, os funcionários fazem uma baderna ficam com caixa de som e fazendo piadas entre si o tempo todo quando estão limpando os quartos acaba incomodando os hóspedes, tem que usar um tampão de ouvido pra conseguir descansar. A localização é ótima de frente ao Central Park, foi o único ponto positivo relevante. O lugar é um albergue ideal mesmo pra dormir pouco tempo e deixar suas coisas, não dá pra passar muito tempo lá pois não é confortável.

The bathrooms were horrible. The doors didn’t lock, and the sinks only had either cold or hot water—none worked properly. The same issues applied to the shower doors and nozzles. The front desk staff was not very friendly. Additionally, the bunk bed was missing screws, and every time someone moved, it felt like the person on the top bunk was going to collapse.

The room was small- BUT WHAT a VIEW!!! Location, Location, Location! A block off Central Park, Lincoln center for morning coffee… it’s an old YMCA - but the ambiance is charming/ just don’t forget your shower slippers. Housekeeping staff - amazing! Children’s art projects displayed in the lobby made my stay perfection!
The window may have needed cleaning/ my phone. But my memory is PERFECT!

Das Zimmer machte einen heruntergekommen Eindruck. Farbe ging von der Wand ab, und diese hatte Risse. Der Boden war nicht richtig sauber. Außerdem waren fremde Haare im Bett. Für die ganze Etage gab es nur drei duschen und drei Toiletten. Diese waren aber halbwegs sauber. Zwischendurch waren diese aber nicht zugänglich, weil sie gereinigt wurden oder der Eingabecode nicht funktionierte. Positiv war die Lage. Sehr nah am Central Park. Von dort aus war alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
