Enjoyable stay and room is super clean. Amenities included 2 bottles of water, coffee maker, kettle and biscuits. Room was quite warm and the fan wasn’t working but it’s probably because I am use to cool Scottish weather. I turned up late and was lucky to meet a bar staff member (gentleman) who was very polite and provided me with a room key - very much appreciated after a long day and cancelled trains. The pub is quite noisy with karaoke and music played until close to midnight.

A lovely stay. Staff were really friendly and welcoming across the board. We had a few drinks in the pub and felt right at home, the regulars were all lovely, giving us tips for onward travel to the event we were going to. The room was clean and everything was really good quality. Conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the station. We would 100% stay here again.

We were given room 1 which was lovely - huge comfy king bed , roomy and a balcony - the only downside was that we got no sleep at all due to the football being on in the pub downstairs - but I don’t blame the staff fir that - we just chose to stay on the wrong day - would def return

This might well be the nicest hotel in the area at this price. Absolutely immaculate, stylish, powerful shower, comfy bed, genuinely warm and helpful staff, a beautiful classic East London pub, and a nice early check in time. For London it's fairly quiet at night too, I slept really well. No brekkie at the hotel but there are some nice cafés within a couple of minutes walk.

This place is the perfect hidden gem. Our room was amazing. It was just perfect. The extra details in the room were perfect. Everything appeared to be brand new. We also very much enjoyed the pub downstairs! Ben the bartender was very nice, we enjoyed having a pint to two there. If your plans take you to this area, you can’t do better!

I felt safe as a solo traveler here. The room was clean and the location was good. The price is really good for what you get. Staff was kind and the bar is lovely. If you are very sensitive to noise, Friday/Saturday nights the bar is open until 11pm and it can be a bit noisy, but nothing a couple ear plugs can’t fix if you are turning in early those nights.
