What a lovely stay we had . The farm house was beautifully done to a very high standard but keeping the originality of the building . Jane and Nigel were amazing hosts . So friendly and nothing was to much trouble The rooms were well kitted out beds comfortable with good quality bedding . All in all we would totally recommend it

What a splendid two nights’ stay, and what an excellent B&B! We found the room first-rate in every respect, and the hosts very accommodating, helpful, and pleasant — most especially over the two wonderful breakfasts. We had a lovely one night stay at PontyClerc Farm. We got the last room available (great sign that they were fully booked!). Room was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly prepared and ready at our given time. The owners were warm and friendly and full of information. The location was perfect for the intention of our visit and we would definitely stay here again when we return.

This is simply a beautiful, homely and welcoming stay. Jane and Nigel were the perfect hosts. Food was excellent too. Nigel helpfully got us maps and gave recommendations/ advice. The setting is peaceful and cosy. It is in rural Wales and we had the true Welsh warmth and hospitality. Nigel showed us around the grounds and we met the Donkeys which were lovely. We cannot recommend this enough if you are wanting a relaxing, authentic and cosy couple of nights. We left with warm hearts. This is simply a must stay.

Traditional bed and breakfast

The house is warm and cozy. There are a variety of teas and coffees in the room. The shower is brilliant. The service was personalised to me. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. I was very happy enjoying my breakfast in the dining room. I was so sad to leave and I am happy to come back.

We felt thoroughly looked after from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. Jane and Nigel really looked after us. Our room was clean and very comfortable (with an amazing bathroom!). We had a coffee machine with pods, kettle with sachets and teabags, plus cookies. It was exactly what we were looking for. The room wasn't very large, but plenty of space for a night's stay. I felt relaxed from the moment we walked in the door. The full traditional breakfast was fantastic, although I really wish I'd tried the Welsh breakfast complete with cockles and laver bread! They were flexible about our arrival and departure time and were on hand to ask any questions throughout our stay. Thank you Jane and Nigel!

Great hosts, Perfect Accommodation

I cannot rate the hosts and accommodation highly enough. We received a warm welcome from the hosts on arrival who were attentive to all our needs. Though it is an old farmhouse, the room had modern tasteful furniture with plenty of storage space, a good selection of specialty teas, coffees, bottle of water, and a Nespresso coffee maker (which to be honest was wasted on me as I don't touch anything made by Nestle). The rainfall shower and separate handset gave a satisfyingly invigorating shower. The hosts have also thought about the environment with heating done through a biomass boiler. The many different breakfast items to choose from are locally sourced or made by the hosts. I had Welsh breakfast which includes lava bread and cockles. Delicious! Also available to buy are local products. Such a great place to stay in a peaceful location on the edge of Ammanford.

We stayed at Pontyclerc farm house while visiting friends in the area. The farm house was charming. Room was comfortable and very clean, lovely biscuits with a lovely sellection of teas coffee, and hot chocolate. Ensuite was of a very good size, with good toiletries supplied. Service for breakfast was friendly and professional, breakfast itself was delicious. Jane and Nigel made you feel very welcome and were very helpful with directions and useful information about the local area. I would definitely recommend Pontyclerc Farm house.
