While the apartment itself was lovely, the customer service was very lacking. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t arrive at the apartment till almost 12am. When we arrived at the apartment door there was no key in the lock box to enter. And since they lock the gates at night, we had to knock on the doors of the nearby hotel to be let out.
When it was time to check out, we asked if our first night could be comped since we couldn’t get in. They said that because we didn’t tell them we were going to arrive late, we were out of the ‘contracts compliance’.
So regardless of the fact that they didn’t leave the key in the apartment lock box (which started all this), it was our fault for arriving after their office closed.
All they needed to do to make it right was comp the first night. Mistakes happen. Instead, they blamed us. Very bad customer service.
