No staff, had difficulties with the check in. Got message regarding staying at the hotel. Message was in French and sadly my French is that good, so had to use translate and the information that 16:01 is ABSOLUTELY the earliest you can check in, no exceptions. So ended up standing in the corridor for an hour, because there was nothing, but the check in machine there. First the machine said that we have no reservation, but in the end got the room key after several tries. The room was basic and clean. There's grocery store down stairs and a pharmacy and bar near by.

Pretty good location, almost anywhere I'd want to go in Nice was little more than a 30 minute walk away, with lots of good public transport for most others. Only issue with location is that I was frequently going to palais des expositions which doesn't have a direct route by public transport so walking was usually faster. I can't speak for the "student" aspect of the hotel as I used it just as a room for a few nights and never went to communal areas. But the room was clean with a good view and reasonably sized and a comfortable bed. My only other gripe was the door closing mechanism was inconsistent, you have to really tug on a door to ensure it stays closed sometimes I'd be scared when coming back to an open door and worry something was missing, but on days I put a lot of weight into closing the door it was fine.

The sun terrace was closed, there were no staff available all weekend, the emergency number didn't connect, there was no toilet paper and the bathroom stank.

Fantastisk utsikt från balkongen

Fint och rent hotellrum. Personalen kunde bra engelska och var trevliga och hjälpte oss boka taxi till flygplatsen. Nära till spårvagn och bara 3 stopp från centrum och stranden. En stor mataffär låg i botten av hotellbyggnaden. Fantastisk utsikt över Nice från balkong på 7:e våning. Minus var att sängen var väldigt hård, ingen bäddmadrass, och lite utrustning i köket. .

Een goed verblijf gehad. In het appartement ontbrak wel wat servies. Ook werd er pas na een week schoon gemaakt in de kamer. Voor ons was dat geen probleem, maar dat betekende wel dat we geen schone handdoeken kregen. Deze konden we echter gemakkelijk aanvragen bij het personeel.

Très bon emplacement, et bonne prise en charge

La résidence est très bien placée, il y a quelques commerces, restos et meme un cinéma a côté 10 min a pieds de la station TER/ TGV, et 2 min a pieds du Tram. Les chambres sont correctes et contiennent des ventilateurs (pas de clim). C'est une résidence Estudine mais qui propose des prestations d'appart hotel pour les court séjour. Les responsables de l'établissement sont très serviables. Point d'amélioration : developper le côté appart hotel avec des produits consommables : mini dentifirices, shampoing, savon, et un accès libre zux serviettes propres... Je recommande cet établissement largement !

Clean modern studio

Great modern, clean studio room. Perfect location close to Nice Ville station. The room was on 7th floor with beautiful views over Nice. The windows were of really good quality, once closed I couldn't hear anything outside. Overall I would definitely recommend Student Factory.

moyen mais personnels sympas

Probleme de machine a notre arrivée, 1h plus tard nous rentrions enfin dans la chambre. Pas de serviettes a disposition nous avons dû en demander. Deux jours plus tard nous n’avons plus eu d’eau le soir, en sachant que meme a 23h il fait encore chaud nous aurions aimer nous laver avant de dormir. Le ménage journalier n’est pas fait, surement car ce n’est pas un vrai hôtel, c’est un peu dommage surtout pour le prix. Ne vous avisez surtout pas d’avoir un soucis apres 18h car il n’y a pas de responsable ni de personne de garde. Par contre, lorsqu’elles sont là, les femmes de l’accueil sont tres sympas et font de leur mieux pour vous aider.

Never actually saw anybody during my entire stay which was a little weird initially, just given instructions to collect my key cards & used the lifts to enter & leave the property. Vi tyckte mycket om vår lägenhet. Den var jättefräsch och fin, och vi hade balkong med fin utsikt. Allting funkade snabbt och smidigt. Det som var ett minus var att det inte fanns någon ac på rummet.

Convenient for foodie, better stay at cooler time

Very convenient for foodie: seafood and fruit market at Gare du Sud, but clean and tidy. Supermarket also just downstairs. Just 15 min walk to the city center and the beach. Yes this is Nice! The only thing, like many have said, the room does not have air-cond that makes it hard for hot summer. We were just able to sleep with all windows opened. Just two degree higher that would have been disastrous. In cooler weather this place would be perfect, and for the nice price.
