The property was beautiful with a lovely spacious room that felt like an apartment! The biggest negative is the hotel’s restaurant was not available, and there are few WALKABLE choices nearby! I would not have stayed here if they would have mentioned this on the website because it was a huge inconvenience. Otherwise LOVELY place.

The hotel is currently under construction, which I understand can be part of improving guest experience—but this was not communicated in advance. A simple heads-up would have allowed me to plan accordingly. I specifically chose this hotel for the on-site restaurant, which was closed for renovations, forcing me to leave the property for every meal. In addition to this inconvenience, there appear to be long-term residents occupying the hotel floor (1st floor). Unfortunately, one of them was placed next to my room and created an ongoing disturbance—loud TV at all hours, frequent shouting, and use of inappropriate language toward others, including staff. While the staff were polite and attempted to intervene, the only solution offered was to relocate me to a different room. This required me to compromise on the room type I originally booked, as comparable options were unavailable. Additionally, no compensation or discount was offered for the disruption and inconvenience caused. The overall experience was uncomfortable, and based on how it was handled, it did not seem like an isolated issue. Soundproofing is minimal, so your experience largely depends on who is placed near you. It’s unfortunate, but I would be cautious when booking here. At this time, I will be reconsidering future stays.

My stay at the hotel was generally good. The room was clean and tidy, with all the basic necessities provided. The staff were professional and helpful throughout the stay. This place is the definition of luxury. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. The room was stunning, with high ceilings, thoughtful touches like a cozy robe and a convenient kitchenette, and a beautiful view even in winter with the snow. Everything was spotless, the amenities were excellent, and the entire hotel felt exceptionally clean and well cared for. I truly didn’t want to leave.

Don’t be misled by the name or the polished photos online. The walls are extremely thin—you can hear every conversation from neighboring rooms, which makes it feel like you’re sharing the same space. The noise continued well past midnight, and when I brought it to the front desk’s attention, the response was dismissive and unhelpful, essentially saying it wasn’t their problem. The staff was not accommodating, the rooms were mediocre at best, and overall the experience felt like a cash grab rather than a place that values its guests.

The restaurant was closed for renovations but there was no mentioned of that prior to arrival, and in turn there were using the “library” space as a make shift cafe - which meant there was no longer a library space. It was have been good to know as we planned on dining there when we got in from our evening flight. The shower head seemed like it was missing a face, and the bathtub plug wouldn’t work.
