I recently stayed in Malta and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The room was modern, well-maintained, and featured a lovely shower that felt like a real upgrade compared to many places I’ve stayed. We also had a balcony, which was a great bonus and made the stay feel a bit more special.
Breakfast was fantastic each morning, with plenty of choice and everything fresh and well presented. The surrounding area was clean and pleasant, and the staff were consistently attentive and helpful throughout our stay.
That said, there are a couple of things worth being aware of. You’ll need to pay a damage deposit at check-in, which might catch some people off guard if you’re not expecting it. Also, the check-in process can be quite slow, especially if several guests arrive at the same time. It seemed like only one person was actually handling check-ins while another staff member was focused on getting guests to fill out forms, which created a bit of a bottleneck.
Overall, despite the slightly frustrating arrival experience, the quality of the room, the excellent breakfast, and the attentive staff made for a very pleasant stay.
